Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

This policy covers DelayLock (com.hotfuture.delaylock), provided by Hot Future, and this support website. No app account is required. Focus and planning content is processed locally; third-party advertising services may process data needed to operate.

Local focus and planning data

Session times, completion status, outcome text, task schedules, preferences, and legacy local data are stored on the device. We do not upload task titles, notes, calendar content, or focus records to our servers or supply them to the advertising SDK.

Screen Time

With your authorization, Apple Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity apply or remove restrictions for selected apps, categories, websites, and schedules. Selection tokens and plans remain in local storage and the shared app-extension container. We do not extract identifiable app or browsing history from Apple's protected selection tokens.

Reminders and calendars

Access requires permission and is limited to the system lists and calendars you select. Saving, completing, or deleting a connected reminder changes its system counterpart. Local task schedules do not create system calendar events. Your system accounts may sync through iCloud or another provider according to your settings. Those providers handle that sync; reminder and calendar content is not sent to our servers or Google advertising services.

Notifications, Live Activities, and motion

Authorized local notifications and Live Activities show schedules or focus progress. Titles may appear on your lock screen; manage visibility in iOS Settings. Shake-to-unlock processes motion samples in memory for counting and does not store or upload them.

Network and Google advertising

The early-exit flow includes Google Mobile Ads rewarded videos. The current version uses official Google test IDs; test ads still make network requests. Before SDK initialization, the app disables Publisher First-Party ID and publisher-side personalization, and requests non-personalized ads with npa=1. It does not currently request ATT authorization or integrate separate analytics, crash reporting, or ad mediation.

For advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and diagnostics, Google Mobile Ads may process IP addresses and inferred coarse location, device identifiers, product interaction, ad views or interactions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data. Non-personalized does not mean no data processing. The SDK is not given your tasks, notes, calendars, or focus outcome text. Control and deletion

Edit or delete supported local records in the app, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, or uninstall to remove local app data. Uninstalling does not automatically delete reminders or calendars from system accounts; manage them in their respective apps. Cloud retention and backups depend on those account services. Local data may also be included in enabled system device backups. DelayLock has no account registration or account-deletion flow.

Support email and website logs

If you email us, we use the address and information you provide to respond. Do not send sensitive task content or passwords. Website servers may log IP addresses, request paths, and access times for operation and security; these logs do not contain app tasks or focus records. These pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts.
